All purpose chef with veggies as the main runner. 7 inches of cutting edge, less than 1/8 inch thick at the base of the blade (on the the thin side for fine slicing) sits a bit taller than my French knives. Beechwood wood handle with vintage micarta. Steel is American old stock 1084. Razor sharp- hand stoned. The handle shape is a flared oval and extremely comfortable. I went for a 1970s color scheme.
