Tactile Craftworks' St. Louis Map Travel Mug is a simple way to carry your hot or cold beverage, whether on your way to work or sitting around a campfire. Etched with an 1876 map of the city, the leather sleeve is hand crafted from quality 5/6oz vegetable tanned leather. We at NHB love the aroma of hot coffee and leather when we use our mugs.  You can quickly switch between the travel lid for drinking, and the mason jar lid for transport. If you remove the metal ring and lid, the travel mug is microwave safe. The leather sleeve is removable for easy cleaning. Best of all, if you break your mug, the mason jar can be replaced at little cost.  Cool!

Tactile Craftworks makes each item by hand with natural materials, so there may be slight variations in your travel mug from the product that is pictured.  The 24 oz  travel mug is 7" Tall, 3 1/2" in diameter.

Each travel mug comes assembled with:

  • Tactile Craftworks is a small leather crafting company based in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, founded in 2014 by Sarah Kirkham and Anna Warren. They strive to make pieces that are long-lasting, beautiful to look at, and satisfying to hold.  Much like how Nate feels making knives at NHB, they love how visceral working with leather is: it's all sharp knives, metal stamps and rawhide mallets. While that rough process is always apparent in the leather, they're intentional about achieving refined results, and are always playing with the perceptions of leather as a material, how it is substantial and durable, but also seen as fine and handsome.  They aim to create products that balance these qualities. Their craft is most inspired by history, their customers, other makers, and the outdoors, and they take pride in combining old world crafting techniques with modern technology to create their unique products.
