One Blind Eye Woodworks uses locally sourced woods to create hand-made spoons and spatulas. These utensils are made from various species of wood, and are sanded to a silky smooth finish. Because of the natural material used in each utensil, each piece is unique and may vary. Spalting or sapwood may be present.
Length varies between 11-13" typically.
Osage Orange Flat Spatula
Dave Wagenseller has developed a talent for "spooning up" business by handcrafting wooden spoons, spatulas and other household tools using more than a dozen locally sourced species of wood. Legally blind in one eye, with a visibility-related, incurable disease in the other, Wagenseller began making his hand-crafted utensils in 2010, and has not looked back. Self-taught with the help of his brother, Wagenseller prides himself for his hand-crafting and is best known for the, "extra-smooth" finish of his products.
